Using Generative Al in Academia: Ethics and Professional Principles

Iran University of Technology and K.N.Toosi University of Technology hold the ” Using Generative Al in Academia: Ethics and Professional Principles” lectures on Monday, December, 1rd at 14:00 PM by Prof.Dr. Simon MILLIGAN, Dr.M.J. OSTADMIRZATEHRANI and Dr. Amin KHIALI MIAB.

This Lecture is organized as part of the “Academic Language for IE Engineers” course, introduces participants to the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (GenAl) and its rapidly evolving role in academic context. The session will explore the state-of-the-art ethical codes and professional principles guiding the responsible use of GenAl in academic language and research.
Participants will learn how to integrate these tools effectively while maintaining academic integrity and authorship standards. The lecture will feature a distinguished guest, Professor Dr. Simon Milligan from the University of Bern, Switzerland.
