KN Toosi University of Technology and Samara Polytech Cooperation

An introductory cooperation meeting between the Petroleum Efficiency Research Center (PIPRC) of the KNTU and the Dept. of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Samara Polytech (Russia) was held online on July 18th, 2023. The two sides agreed on the following main topics to be followed up for their future cooperation:

– Hydro fracturing in oil felds
– Geophysical explorations within the oil fields
– Provision of specific software and operating systems for oil and gas engineering

The PIPRC and the Samara Polytech agreed to continue to exchange specific ideas and proposals on the above mentioned disciplines for joint funding opportunities (e.g. recent INSF/RSF call) as well as bilateral cooperation.
