Upon the invitation of the Office of International Cooperation and Development, K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) hosted a friendly meeting with institutions licensed to attract international students. The session was held with the participation of managers from more than 25 institutions, along with university officials and representatives from the Student Affairs Organization.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Sadeghi, Head of the President’s Office; Dr. Aliakbarian, Director of International Cooperation and Development at KNTU; and Eng. Ahmadipour, Head of Recruitment Institutions at the Student Affairs Organization.
At the beginning of the session, university officials emphasized the necessity of strengthening constructive and continuous interaction with recruitment institutions and shared points regarding the development of cooperation and improvement of related processes.
Subsequently, Eng. Ahmadipour and Mr. Sajjadi, Head of the International Students Office at the university, provided explanations on effective communication with recruitment institutions, submission of student files, and the admission process. These explanations aimed to enhance coordination between the university and the institutions and to facilitate administrative procedures.
In the final part of the meeting, managers of the institutions expressed their views and concerns, including accelerating the admission process, concluding cooperation agreements, and applying tuition discounts for international students. University and Student Affairs Organization officials responded to the questions and issues raised, and the meeting concluded with a summary of the discussions.
