Admission Requirements
An undergraduate student is a college or university student who has not awarded any Bachelor’s degree. Any High school and/or college graduates may apply to our Bachelor’s degrees by providing the following documents:
- High School (College) Diploma along with its complete transcripts translated to Persian/English by a certified translator and sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (if not in English).
- Motivation Letter/Statement of Purpose
- A Scan of your passport-formatted Photo
- A high quality scan of the main pages of your passport
- Proof of Persian Language Proficiency (Samfa Exam)
* Your application is not complete without the required supporting documents which must be sent via email as part of your application.
* All the transcripts and Diplomas not in English or Persian Language shall be translated to English/Persian by a certified translator and sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A graduate student applicant is a student who has been already awarded a Bachelor’s degree and is seeking to enter into a Master’s or Doctoral degrees. To apply for our Master’s and Ph.D. programs please provide the following documents:
- Previous degree(s) in original form, along with the complete transcript of the records for all degrees translated to Persian/English by a certified translator and sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (if not in English).
- D. candidates shall provide both their Bachelor’s
- Sc. candidates shall provide both their B.Sc. and High School Diploma
- Motivation Letter/Statement of Purpose: in which you clearly specify your major and level of interest.
- A Resume or C.V.
- Two letters of Recommendation
- Proof of Persian Language Proficiency (Samfa Exam)
- Proof of English Language Proficiency for Ph.D. students (TOEFL, IELTS, …)
- A Scan of your passport-formatted Photo

Application Steps
Complete the online application form
You are required to provide your personal information, type of program (Degree/Non degree), level (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) and major (Electrical Engineering, Computer science, …) of interest.
Submit the application form
Remember to attach all the required supporting documents. Your application will not be processes unless all the supporting documents are received.
To apply for your prior learning to be accredited, please complete the relevant section on the application form.
Await our response
We acknowledge your application by email within 24 hours. This includes a student reference number in case you need to contact us about your application. From then, we aim to respond within two weeks.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for International students vary depending on the Degree/Non-Degree Programs you’re studying. In Degree Programs an official B.Sc, M.Sc or Ph.D. diploma will be granted to the student who has fulfilled all the academic and research requirements. The general Tuition fees for the Degree program consists of a fixed-term plus credit-based tuition with the approximate bounds given in the following table:

* Tuition fees do not include accommodation, food and insurance.
The non-Degree program fees are depending on the duration and content and is announced for each program separately. In Non-Degree program, an official certificate of attendance is issued at the end of program which provides the students with a record of attending, the dates and the title of attended course.

Living Costs
‘Living costs’ cover whatever you need to pay for, excluding tuition fees, while you’re at university. In 2019-20, the minimum resources needed in Tehran for the year (excluding tuition and College fees) are estimated to be approximately 100,000,000 – 150,000,000 IRR, depending on lifestyle (you should consider a yearly inflation rate in future).

Additional costs
The cost of study materials varies depending on your course but may include:
- Equipment (e.g. calculator, laptop)
- Books and printings
- Travel costs (e.g. field or dissertation research trips)
The Faculty’s libraries and IT facilities help to keep your costs down, and in addition some departments offer grants for Ph.D. students to help with particular costs.
